The whole illusion rests on one idea: a video model doesn't need to invent a story — it needs a start and an end. Give it a perfect opening still and a perfect closing still, then write a flight path that connects them. Below are the exact two frames this film flies between.

Follow this in order. Each step took me a couple of tries — the notes are the shortcuts I wish I'd had on the first run.

Generate the start frame

Paste the Start Frame JSON (below) into your image generator. Lock it to 16:9. This is your Dumbo establishing shot — the wider the depth toward the bridge, the better the flight will feel.

▸ Swap the EDITABLE_VARIABLES block to change weather: golden hour, clear day, fog, or moonlight.

Generate the end frame

Use the End Frame JSON with your subject's reference photo attached. Keep the identity-lock line intact so the face stays true. Render at 4:5 so the full body fits.

▸ AI usually garbles signage — if "The Multiverse Café" misspells, render the sign blank and add the text in post.

Open Seedance 2.0 in first/last-frame mode

Choose the start-and-end-keyframe option. Upload Frame 01 as the first frame and Frame 02 as the last frame. This is what forces a clean lock at both ends.

Paste the FPV flight prompt

Drop in the FPV Video Prompt (below). The timestamped beat sequence is the secret — it stops the model from rushing the first half and cramming the café arrival into one frame.

▸ Keep duration at 12s. The beats are paced for exactly that.

Render, judge, trim a beat if needed

12 seconds with this many beats is ambitious. If you see morphing or a dropped section, the fix is to remove a beat — the water dip is the most expendable — not to add more words.

▸ For maximum coherence, render two linked 6s segments sharing a midpoint frame, then join them.

Grade & finish

Match the teal-and-orange grade across the whole clip so the rainy bridge and the warm café feel like one world. Add light rain texture and subtle motion blur if the render came out clean.

▸ Consistent color grade is what sells the "one continuous reality" feeling.
